RunSound ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service at run-sound.com.

We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Artist name, email address, TikTok handle, Spotify URL
- Campaign data: Song titles, images you upload, campaign configuration settings
- Usage data: How you interact with the Service, features you use, errors that occur
- Analytics data: TikTok post performance data (views, likes, shares), UTM click tracking data, Spotify stream data linked to your campaigns
- Payment information: Processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the RunSound Service
- Generate AI-powered content for your TikTok campaigns
- Analyze campaign performance to optimize future content
- Send you service updates, campaign reports, and occasional product announcements
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
To provide the Service, we share data with the following third parties:
- TikTok: We integrate with TikTok's API to post content to your account and retrieve post performance data under your authorized permissions.
- OpenAI: We send your campaign metadata (genre, song title, strategy) to OpenAI's API to generate hook texts. We do not send personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary.
- Supabase: Our database provider stores your campaign data and analytics. Data is stored in EU data centers.
- Spotify: We use Spotify URLs you provide to track streaming performance linked to your campaigns.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for 90 days before deletion, in case you wish to reactivate your account. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for direct marketing
- Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances

7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics are collected using privacy-respecting methods without tracking you across sites.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, and access controls limiting who can access your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
